About Midlands Tool Supplies

Midlands Tool Supplies is a family owned independent retailer of hand tools, power tools and accessories to all trades and industries.

Our aim is to give you a top quality personal service during every part of the buying process.

In order to give you this service, we endeavour at all times to work to our Business Charter, which is:

  1. Don't advertise anything that isn't a stock item! Everything you see listed is carried as stock in our UK warehouse. We try very hard to ensure that the products featured on this website are physically on the shelf and can be despatched to UK addresses within 2 working days. We are extremely proud of our overall service and availability which is reflected in feedback from our customers.

    To achieve best availability, we deal directly with manufacturers, importers or first line distributors and have regular deliveries from our suppliers. However, as with any shop and despite our best endeavours, from time to time some items may be temporarily out of stock due to circumstances beyond our control (supply difficulties, delayed transport, or unexpected demand, etc).

    If this is the case we will inform you as to the expected delay, and give you the opportunity to wait for the goods ordered to arrive, to cancel the order for a full refund or to order the nearest possible alternative.

  2. Keep the customer fully informed at all times! We keep you fully informed of the status of your order from order placement, receipt of payment (if paying by cheque we notify you of receipt of cheque and again when it clears), through to despatch notification when we ship your goods. If sent by carrier, we also endeavour to notify you if the carrier has attempted an unsuccessful delivery (although we can only do this if the carrier himself notifies us of the attempt).
  3. Ship customers' goods quickly! During normal times, we aim to ship your goods within 2 working days after your payment has cleared. At very busy periods (e.g. Bank Holidays, Xmas / New Year, our own holidays, etc), we sometimes need a little longer, but at these times we post a notice on our shop header notifying of any delays.
  4. Listen to the customer! Our customers are very important to us. We take your feedback extremely seriously and use it to monitor and maintain our service levels.
